ABOUT

W. J. Davies is a writer, critic and academic author. He writes essays, reviews, short fiction and interview features for print and online publications including the Times Literary SupplementExacting Clam, Slightly FoxedReview 31 and Poetry Birmingham. 

 

Will has held academic posts at the University of Reading, Oxford Brookes and the University of Leeds. He has twice been a visiting fellow at the University of Texas, Austin. He is the author of Samuel Beckett and the Second World War and editor of several essay collections and journal special issues. His essays on Beckett, Harold Pinter, T. S. Eliot, Donald Davie and others have appeared in various academic journals. He now works in the public library sector. 

Will lives in southeast England with his wife, who is a sculptor, and his cat, who is not.
